Jake's Del Mar restaurant will host its 26th Annual Jake's Del Mar Beach Fun Run, on Saturday, Oct. 25 at noon.

The 5K (3.2 miles) run takes place on the beach, starting and finishing at Jake's. Race awards will be given to first place for men and women, along with oldest and youngest persons to finish and a stroller division.

Entry fees are $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12. The fee includes a Fun Run T-shirt, barbecue, drinks on the beach, awards and raffle prize opportunities after the race.

Mail in deadline is Oct. 17 and entrants can sign up the day of the race from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race go to the Del Mar Lifeguards for their various programs.
